Manfas Hay
Mr. Manfas Hay acquired his Bachelors of Law degree from the University of West Indies, Cave Hill and obtained his Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School. Upon graduating from law school Mr. Hay was appointed a legal officer at the Office of the Public Defender where he thrived in advocating for the most unfortunate among our society.
Mr. Hay’s entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be more hands on with dealing with client’s matters led him to form Johnson, Hay & Company with his colleague and partner, Mrs. Shannon Johnson.
His focus areas of practice includes conveyancing, estate matters and family law. He is a Jamaican divorce lawyer and a Jamaican property lawyer. Mr. Hay is not only an expert in conveyancing legal practice, he is also a licensed realtor which gives him an advantage when dealing with conveyancing matters. He often times leverages his experience as a realtor to form relationships with colleagues in the industry which in turn provides a number of benefits to his client. One such benefit is that he is able to offer his clients current and useful information about the real estate market and how to navigate same to their benefit.
Mr. Hay is often referred to by friends as the people’s champ because he has a knack for forging meaningful relationships with people, which he believes is the key to living a fulfilled life.

Mrs. Shannon Johnson, has acquired an impressive scholarly background with a Bachelor of Science in International Studies with a minor in Chinese Business Studies from Lingnan University in Hong Kong, a Bachelors of Law from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill and a Legal Education Certificate from Norman Manley Law School. While studying at Norman Manley Law School and upon graduating she worked in the civil litigation department of a prominent law firm in Kingston, which assisted her in gaining a wide range of experience in various areas of the law.
Mrs. Johnson mainly focuses on civil litigation matters, with a special interest in contentious property disputes and family law matters. Mrs. Johnson is detailed oriented and takes a simple yet direct approach with her clients to help them to understand and feel comfortable with the often intimidating world of law; and through this process enhances their working relationship. By arming her clients with full insight into their matter, Mrs. Johnson inspires confidence and cultivates trust between herself and her clients.
A creative at heart, Mrs. Johnson can often be found working on home décor projects. She is a true wanderlust and enjoys traveling.
